Our herd

Bernie

DOB: 28 June 2024

Male: chondro negative

Color: yellow

Weight: 650 lbs

Height:

Breeder: Sterling Hills Farm (VA)

Bernie is an extremely sweet guy with a ton of hair. He's very docile and loves attention. Like all of our cows he loves treats and getting brushed. When he was about a year old, we went out to the pasture to find him walking around with one of his horns hanging down and barely attached. The vets had to remove the damaged horn. His horn grew back, but it is no longer pointed.

Neymar

DOB: 12 June 2026

Male: chondro positive

Color: white, brown

Birth Weight: 46 lbs

Height:

Breeder: Udderly Adorable Farm

Neymar (born during the World Cup and named after the Brazilian soccer legend) is the first baby born on the farm. Sire is Bernie and Dam is Catalina. A beautiful hi-park with a spunky personality. We are excited about breeding him with our non-chondro girls to produce healthy and beautiful small calves.

Porsche

DOB: 6 November 2023

Female: chondro positive

Color: silver dun

Weight: 750 lbs

Height:

Breeder: Sterling Hills Farm (VA)

Porsche is definitely the boss lady around these parts. Always first in line to get treats and a brushing. Whenever we are working in the pasture she is the first to come over and say hi and doesn’t leave until we do.

Catalina

DOB: 2 August 2023

Female: chondro positive

Color: white, black

Weight: 662 lbs

Height:

Breeder: Sterling Hills Farm (VA)

Catalina is a beautiful hi-park girl and second in command on the farm. She's a little more reserved than Porsche (hard not to be), but loves getting brushed and eating apple and oat treats.

Aspen

DOB: 21 April 2024

Female: chondro negative

Color: dun

Weight: 790 lbs

Height:

Breeder: Purdy Petite Farm (VA)

Aspen is a sweet girl with a beautiful dun coat. She loves attention, but will not barge her way in to get it…that job belongs to Bernie and Porsche.

Ember

DOB: 8 April 2024

Female: chondro negative

Color: yellow

Weight: 832 lbs

Height:

Breeder: Purdy Petite Farm (VA)

Ember is our most reserved girl. She's toward the bottom of the cow hierarchy on our farm. This girl still loves treats and getting brushed, but she won't barge her way in if other cows are present. We often separate her from the other cows and provide her with individualized attention. She's a really calm and sweet girl and a great mother.

Luna

DOB: 29 July 2024

Female: chondro negative

Color: black

Weight: 745 lbs

Height:

Breeder: Sugar Creek Acres (VA)

Luna is a sweet girl with a beautiful black coat. She has great hair and gets some red highlights in it when she grows her winter coat. She is a very gentle girl and loves attention.
